    Charming biscuit box made by Massilly, France. Shows a 19th century lady with an umbrella observing the regatta at the French port city of Balaruc les Bains. The resort town was famous for its allegedly curative thermal springs. Its cookies were evidently "La cure gourmande," as it says on the box. (Unfortunately, the box will ship without any cookies!)
    Metal with hinged lid. Measures 7.75 x 5.0 x 2.5 inches (19.7 x 12.7 x 6.35 cm). Excellent condition. Imported from France.
